Healthy cat is a dream for every cat lover.Healthy cat can be recognize from its physic and behaviour.Those two factor indicates the cat healthyness.The condition of hair,eyes,mouth,nose,nail,and anus can be the sign of the cat healthyness.
The most important thing to notice in buying a cat is the place where you buy it.Its better to buy the cat in the caterry or breeder beside the genealogy and health that is guarantee,they can show you the sertificate of its genealogy so you can trace its genetic factor.

1.Behaviour

Choose an active and lively cat behavioured.Cause unhealthy cat look pasif,weak and muse.The standart level of lively and active of cat is suited with its kind.Ussually unhealthy cat have no interaction with their playing friend or surrounding.And see how they walk.Don’t choose a cat that walk by dragging its feet,crippled,or slow.

2.Hair

Hair in healthy cat is shiny,unsturdy and doesn’t feel sticky,not falling,doesn’t smell.Don’t choose cat that have hair loss or alopecia (baldyness to cat).This indicate that there is something wrong with the hair and skin of the cat,which means that the cat is unhealthy.

3.Eyes

Cat with shiny eyes,clear,bright and optimal sight is indicating that the cat is healthy.Cat with blur,incision,watered,not optimally open eyes,or there is wound around the eyes indicates that the cat is unhealthy.So you must pay attention to their eyes.

4.Nose,Ears,and Mouth

Clean nose,with pink colour,wet,cold, not in dry condition and optimal smelling is indicating a healthy cat.The same thing with the mouth and there is no wound around it.Ears can also be the important thing in looking cat’s health.The ears must be in clean condition,unsmelly,not itch and no wound.If you need to.grope the ears,don’t let any bruse like acne or pimple in the face,or thickening in the ears.

5.Nail

Look at the nail,the nail should be clear,bright,strong and unbreak.Also form and orderly grow.Beside that is clean and unsmelly
That cause by desesase or dirt in the nail.

6.Anus

Notice the Anus,don’t let any left over that still stick,and there is no wound.Unclean anus with wound or hemoroid indicates that the cat is not healthy.

Cat is one of the choosable pet to animal lover.Beside the funny face,spoiled characteristic,cat can be an attractive friend to play.That is why when we see funny and sweet cats in animal fairs or pet shops,the will to have it can suddenly came.

By that time you need to be carefull in choosing and buying a cat.Buying without consideration will adverse yourself.Many factor that must pay attention in choosing and buying a cat.

1.Pure Race,Mix, or Local

Actually between pure,mix,or local its not a big problem.Aa long as the price is suit with your financial.But if you need an active and lively cat you should choose local cat,mix,or race of Siamese. In the opposite if you need a calm,cool,unnoisy and not to active cat you can choose Persian cats because their characteristic is various.

2.Genealogy
Many cats is provided in the market.Which race will you choose ? Short hair race like Exotic,or long haired race like Persian.Choose cat with a clear genetic and genealogy by looking to its sertificate and try to reseach of its mother.If you need to,observe and check its mother.Ussualy sertificate and good genealogy can be provided by a representative caterry.Caterry can provide good mother wether import or local.Import mother and champion will raise the value and price of the cat and also its owner prestice.

3.Medical Record

Ask for books that writes any health medication or therapy,like the vaksin books.Ussualy cat sell in the age of 3 month..At that age cat should have Distemper vaksin,cat flu,Rabies and Leukimia.Cat which is more than 3 months old should have a complete vaksin and Booster vaksin and repeated vaksin.Vaksin books came and should be from the animal doctor with his/her sign.

4.Male or Female
Between male and female cat there is no big difference in characteristic,so its not a big problem.But if you plan to breed it choose female cat or both if you can.Female cat usually more calm,cool,and spoiled.Male cat usually have bigger body size,more attractive and active.And male cat have a spraying habit (pee in any place)and leave uncomfortable smell.

5.Place

Place for cats to live is also an important factor.Cause place is influencing the number of cats that will be own.If you have a big place you can own more than one cat. So they can play and move freely.

6.Love and Time

If you have one or more cat in your place,you should spend a little time with them.Cat needs love,attention,and caress that they like from you.That is the consequences in owning a cat.

This cat actually is located in east side of Madura island in Indonesia,in Ra’as Sumenep.Though its from Indonesia This cat has different characteristic that special from local cats.Many people in Madura has it.

The typical of this cat is the similarity of face and body structure with leopard or forest cats.Its face is shape like a box on the upper side and sharp on the chin.The ears is sharp and facing to the top.

The colour is grey to blue (Buso) with a big body bigger than local cats.The long of its tail is medium with bented top.The most easy way to recognize this cats is the colour,face form,and tail.This characteristic sign the related family of Madura cats with wild cats compare to local cats.

Now the population of this cats in Ra’as island is decreasing (not more than 100 cats)in other word is nearly extinct.

This condition is cause many of this cat brought out from Madura.And the death rate is quite big in and outside the Ra’as island.Beside those characteristic this cat has thicker hair texture then local cats.

Beside Buso colour there is other colour such as Stramonium.This colour pattern is known as Birma colour pattern.Its body is chocolate milk colour in most of the body and darker chocolate on the top of the ears,nose,leg,and tail.

Unfortunately this stramonium Madura cats have a face that look a like with local cats (oval).Its a possibility that madura cat can be one of the world cats race if we look from its characteristic.But it needs a hard work to purified the race that can be the mascot of our nation.

The typical of this cat is in the hair that is mix between black and white with thick tabby pattern.Its chest is clean white haired.They are active and always move.Not to aggressive and fast to adapt with the surrounding.

Though in its country is a sub tropical country, in Indonesia this cat can live in a high tropical temperature.Cause its from domestication from forest cat, this cat can adapt with the change of condition.A cat lover import this cat from Norwegia to Indonesia,and it took four days to brought it but the cat is perfectly in healthy condition.

When you come Ragdoll cat look very happy.This white,blue,old brown to grey haired cat have a calm,friendly,sensitive characteristic.

Ragdoll is a perfect companion in the house.Its obedient,and easy to teach so it won’t bother the owner.With its fun behaviour,Ragdoll also have other excession in its physic and look too.Like a coat its hair cover all of its body and very thick.

Ragdoll have quite a long hair.The long is intermediate,soft and look more longer in some parts.Specially in the quills and around its tail.In its leg interface the hair is long and look like a tassel.

This cat face is sweet.They have medium size of face with round cheek.Its eyes is oval and blue, a clear and clean blue eyes.Its ear is small,stiff facing the front.The easiest way to recognize this related with Persian,Burma,and Siam cats is from the head or face.

This cat at a glance is similar to local cat.But the difference is the hair pattern that is similar to leopard so they looked manly and dashing.Just like its colour,its temperament is attractive and always active.So its suit with its name “Bengal” which taken from sundanese language in Indonesia which means naughty.

This cat ussually independent specially the female.Its body structure is big and manly,just like wild cats.Its bone is strong with musculous body specially the female.Big head and long body,but smaller than its body portion.Thick neck,long and musculous,balance with its head size.Big nose and wide with intermediate size without any curve,its nose skin is red with black outer lines.

Intermediate ears, stiff, facing the front.Wide eyes and round like almond,with green colour or amber.Long legs and true adventurer,intermediate tail and thick haired.Short hair,thick and smooth,shiny hair.Its only known in some colour like brown,seal lynx point,mink,and sephia.But then developing to silver,blue and solid black.

The typical colour pattern is black tabby spotted,brown or cinnamon,and black horizontal lines on its back,and circle in the tail with dark top.Basic colour orange is most people loves.Also known the tabby marble pattern that look likes oyster pattern in the tight and butterfly pattern on the shoulder. Female Bengal is more fun than the male.Its characteristic is independent and temperamental.

Long Haired Angora Race

Indonesian people know for the first time long haired cat race from Angora.Angora is the oldest foreign cat race that came to indonesia.So people often call Persian cats as Angora cats.

But,do you know that Angora cat is actually taken from the city Angora in Turk,that is why it often called as Turkish Angora.This cat is the oldest of long haired cat race that enter to Indonesia.Its original colour is white but then come other colour.

Its long hair is not as thick as Persian cat.Its characteristic is the tail hair is longer than the other part of the body.

Persian Dominated

Most of the race that breed by cattery in Indonesia is long and short haired Persian cat race.Some cattery breed other races but not as much as Persian cats.This related to the cat lover likeness to Persian cats that has long hair, flat nose and its cute and spoiled characteristic.

Is not strange why Indonesia has lots of Persian cats variety.Beside long haired, cattery start to breed short haired Persian cats.The demand of short haired Persian cats is begin to increase.What so typical about Persian cats is its hair that is long and soft with beautifull variety of colour.Plus its face which is funny because of its flat nose.
